Flooring Xtra are the proud broadcast sponsor of Three’s The Block NZ season nine. This season showcases four stunning builds that are the most impressive architecturally designed houses The Block NZ has ever seen, set in Auckland’s aspirational inner-west suburb of Point Chevalier. All of the hard flooring and carpet featured throughout the homes has been proudly provided by Flooring Xtra. Join us each week, as we take a look at the teams’ finished rooms and see how they bring their ideas (and flooring) to life!

Week one on Three’s The Block NZ saw the teams hard at work creating their guest bedrooms. We think they did an amazing job at designing the most inviting rooms.

THE WINNING GUEST BEDROOM: Meg & Dan

Meg and Dan’s guest bedroom combines natural textures and finishes with a green and neutral palette. The judges couldn’t believe they had managed to pull together this guest bedroom in just a week!

On the floor is Bremworth Foss carpet in High Cross from Flooring Xtra. Tactile underfoot, Foss features a chunky loop pile construction made with felted wool, providing both warmth and softness.

Janah & Rach's Guest Bedroom

The gold and natural elements of Janah & Rach’s guest bedroom channels high-end glamour.

On the floor is Bremworth Foss carpet in Leicester from Flooring Xtra. Comfortable and textural, its linear construction gives the room a polished style while the felted wool provides a soft, warm feel underfoot. Guests will want to sink their toes in!

Dylan & Keegan's Guest Bedroom

The words ‘cheerful’ and ‘exuberant’ spring to mind when describing Dylan and Keegan’s guest bedroom. The bold orange feature wall creates a warm focus point in the room and is complemented with colour coordinated bedding and accessories.

On the floor is Armure carpet in Beeswax from Flooring Xtra. Armure’s randomly assorted chunky loops add interest to the floor, introducing a luscious texture.

Tim & Arthur's Guest Bedroom

Tim and Arthur’s guest bedroom uses earthy tones to create a moody, masculine vibe.

On the floor is Bremworth Verve carpet in Candlelight. A warm-toned cut pile, it introduces a light, restful feel to the room.
