Three's The Block NZ: Kids Bedrooms

27 Jun, 2021

Flooring Xtra are the proud broadcast sponsor of Three’s The Block NZ season nine. This season showcases four stunning builds that are the most impressive architecturally designed houses The Block NZ has ever seen, set in Auckland’s aspirational inner-west suburb of Point Chevalier. All of the hard flooring and carpet featured throughout the homes has been proudly provided by Flooring Xtra. Join us each week, as we take a look at the teams’ finished rooms and see how they bring their ideas (and flooring) to life!

Week two on Three’s The Block NZ saw the teams get imaginative with their kids bedrooms. We loved seeing the teams channel their inner child.

THE WINNING KIDS BEDROOM: Tim & Arthur

Surf’s up! Tim and Arthur’s light-filled, beach themed kids bedroom exudes an easy-going, relaxed vibe; making it a fantastic ‘chill’ zone for kids to kick-back in.

On the floor is Bremworth Verve carpet in Candlelight. A warm-toned cut pile carpet, it provides a supremely soft base for growing kids to learn, live and play on.

Meg & Dan's Kids Bedroom

Meg and Dan designed and created not one, but two kids bedrooms this week, a pastel pink sanctuary and a monochromatic retreat.

Both bedrooms feature Bremworth Foss carpet in High Cross from Flooring Xtra. Providing a comforting foundation, the carpet's neutral tone complements both bedrooms, while its linear structure offers a refined look.

Janah & Rach's Kids Bedroom

Fit for a princess – Janah and Rach’s teenage girl’s bedroom features elegant velvet against a neutral colour palette.

On the floor is Bremworth Foss carpet in Leicester from Flooring Xtra. This soft, linear carpet gives the room a polished look, while providing a warm and cushioned base.

Dylan & Keegan's Kids Bedroom

Geometry and symmetry come into play in Dylan and Keegan’s functional kids bedroom.

On the floor is Armure carpet in Beeswax from Flooring Xtra. Kids will love this wool carpet - it combines the durability and performance of a loop pile with the luxurious feel underfoot of a cut pile, making it both enjoyable to play on and hard-wearing.
