This week saw the teams take on the heart of the home, the kitchen & dining room. Maybe the most challenging parts of the house, we think all the teams did an awesome job creating impressive and stylish spaces.

THE WINNING KITCHEN & DINING ROOM: Tim & Arthur

Black accents combine with warm wooden elements to create the most contemporary and elegant kitchen & dining room in Tim & Arthur's home. The rooms are finished with modern art pieces and complementary vibrant florals.

On the floor is Quick-Step Imperio engineered timber in Natural Heritage Oak Oiled. Its warm undertones and striking knot details introduce a natural look and feel to the home, while its extra long and wide plank sizes exude class and elegance.

Meg & Dan's Kitchen & Dining Room

Delightfully bright, Meg & Dan's kitchen & dining room utilises a calming white palette with soft toned woods, to create a functional space that feels both modern yet classic.

On the floor is Quick-Step Impressive laminate in Soft Oak Natural. Quick-Step Impressive laminate has extra solid and hard wearing planks that look and feel exceptionally natural, for the look of a real timber floor at a fraction of the cost. It's water-repellent 'HydroSeal' surface makes it a great laminate option for the kitchen!

Dylan & Keegan's Kitchen & Dining Room

Cleverly playing on colour and contrast, Dylan & Keegan's kitchen & dining room embody bold and luxurious living. The design showcases the substantial space and natural light, while black and gold elements bring a contemporary chic feel to the space.

On the floor is Quick-Step Majestic laminate in Desert Oak Brushed Dark Brown. The strikingly dark wood look has a high-end feel, further emphasised by the extra wide planking and authentic rustic timber patterning. Quick-Step Majestic's 'HydroSeal' coating allows water to form droplets on the floors surface which can simply be wiped off, making this laminate a great option for the kitchen.

Connie & Rach's Kitchen & Dining Room

Whimsical and unique, Connie & Rach's kitchen & dining room combines texture and colour craft-fully. The delicate tiling on the splash-back and kitchen island introduce a modern touch, while the emerald green cabinetry and custom velvet nook bring a warm and inviting feel.

Featured on the floor is Quick-Step Amato engineered timber in Pure Oak Extra Matt from Flooring Xtra. Amato's extra matt surface provides a gentle-looking finish, for the feel of timber flooring in its finest form.
