About the role

As a Customer Service Representative at Wānaka Flooring Xtra, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Joining our dynamic retail team, you will be a friendly face in thes howroom, responsible for assisting customers with flooring solutions for their homes and commercial spaces. The job is full time (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday, with the occasional Saturday morning shift. The position is directly responsible for greeting and assisting clients, quoting and keeping the showroom to a highly presentable standard. Other aspects of the role include:

  • Greeting customers and providing friendly, attentive service
  • Listening to customer requirements and offering solutions to meet their needs
  • Providing expert advice on an extensive range of flooring products
  • Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to assist customers
  • Creating cut plans
  • Processing customer needs and providing quotes accurately and efficiently, updating as details change
  • Checking stock levels with suppliers
  • Following up with customers to ensure they have all installation details
  • Keeping track of changes in job details and accurately passing them on to relevant team members
  • Ensuring the store is well-presented at all times
  • Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues
