About the role

As a Customer Service Representative at Wānaka Flooring Xtra, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Joining our dynamic retail team, you will be a friendly face in the showroom, responsible for assisting customers with flooring solutions for their homes and commercial spaces. The job is full-time (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday, with the occasional Saturday morning shift. The position is directly responsible for greeting and assisting clients, quoting, and maintaining the showroom to a high standard of presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customers with a friendly and attentive service, listening to their needs and providing personalised solutions
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Working out a flooring installation plan for the chosen products
  • Provide quotes and process sales transactions
  • Checking stock levels with suppliers
  • Keep track of changes in job details and accurately pass these on
  • Ensure the store is well-presented at all times
