Our Story

Papakura Flooring Xtra has been proudly serving the Takanini, Ardmore, Papakura, Karaka, Drury, Ramarama and extended rural communities with quality flooring solutions for over a decade. Owned and operated locally by Richard and Trish Wickett, our store showcases 460 sqm of flooring options, giving you the chance to explore a wide range of styles, textures, and finishes in person.

What started as a passion for flooring has grown into a dedicated team with extensive knowledge across sales, measuring, and professional installation. We work closely with homeowners, builders, designers, and contractors to deliver flooring that looks great and lasts.

We stock leading brands, including Bremworth, Wools of NZ, Godfrey Hirst & Feltex, Victoria Carpets, Signature, Jacobsen, RML, Urban and Floorscape’s Quickstep, Pergo and our own Xpert Pro ranges of Laminate, ensuring you have access to the best options on the market. Our professional installers take pride in their work, bringing skill and care to every project. We also stock an extensive range of sheet vinyl in 2 and 3m wide.

We are conscious of the need to recycle wherever possible and use sustainable products, and we follow this through by doing our utmost to support local manufacturers, including Sleepyhead for all locally manufactured premium quality underlays and recycle all foam for their Premium Zero 11mm 130kg range of underlay.
