Haru Collection
Inspired by Japanese aesthetics and philosophy in design. The Haru collection has a Wabi-Sabi look to it, loosely translated, this means beauty in imperfections and simplicity. Wabi may be translated as "subdued, austere beauty", and sabi as "rustic patina”. Natural materials have an organic quality to them that man-made materials just can’t replicate. Like timber grain, slubs in silk and marble veins, wool has a unique textural look that suggests comfort and warmth.
Two styles, both 28oz – a rib and a random loop. Two different looks for different tastes and purposes. The colours are a mixture of warm and cooler hues and light and dark tones. They are all a blend or a mixture of colours, what we call a heather. Like a good painting, look closely and you will see the numerous hues which go into each colour.
